Alex Yablong
Head Coach
Professor Alex is a native of Chicago but spent his adult life in Denver/Boulder, Colorado, where he found Jiu Jitsu as way to get in shape and make a positive change in his life. He has done Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2012 and received his black belt from Professor Amal Easton. Alex offers a high level of expertise and is an accomplished competitor at blackbelt in the IBJJF, improving each year. As head coach, he has created a world-class curriculum and brought a competition team from Providenciales to the podiums of various international competitions within the first three years of opening the gym! His leadership style is exemplified by constantly pouring himself into the newest techniques in the sport to pass on to the coaches and members. When not on the mats, he can be found snorleling the TCI reef or snowboarding/hiking in the mountains of Colorado.
